OK my trip to the East Coast (again LOL)

Well I left work on friday around 3:30 and the snow was already coming down hard. I ended up having to borrow the AGD truck to bring the packages home.

After getting home, I tried to repack the car only to discover that all 4 boxes would not fit. I ended up braking open 2 boxes and fit 19 classic boxes in the trunk of my car (as you can tell from the pics). The car was really packed and heavy.

We ended up not leaving until around 7:30 PM while it was still snowing.

It snowed through all the states and was really bad throughout the entire trip (mostly in indiana, ohio, and the first half of pennsylvania). I ended up having to stop about 6 times for a break because I could not go any faster than 55-60 miles per hour due to severe road conditions. Nonetheless, the I (the bastard) was determined and made it to exit 30 in New Jersey off route 80 and hooked up with AlbinoNewt and drove the remaining 2 hours to Mel's field.

Upon arriving Mel and I took the car to the wash (the layer of salt was so thick you could not see the graphics) and had her supercleaned and was so spotless, other customers mentioned that they were not even sure what color the car was before (or that the car had graphics). We tried fitting her into the double doorway but the car was just too fat to fit and ended up being a store front display on Sunday.

I was able to squeeze in a few games on Saturday with, of course, another couple of memorable moments. One moment was when Perfect Tommy of NYSS was actually communicating with me. This actually got him in trouble with his teammates as he lacks a bit in the communication area (LOL). I was really honored by that LOL. The second was when we were told to take it easy on the other team which was comprised of "newbies". We decided to flop our positions:

Mango and Dayspring played back
Psycho played somewhere
Albino and I were going for the snake.

Needless to say, we were spanked pretty back but I did make it to the snake (LOL how I fit is a different story) but I was shot in the gun) I guess you would have to be there or at least have the guys tell you from their point of view as it was really funny). We turned it around and spanked them pretty hard afterwards. Another good moment was my first time playing that day. We were playing against a team and I go to Mango and say, "I am really scared". His response was, "I am scared too" LOL.

Sunday was a normal day. I parked the car in the front as a display and many teams showed up for practice. I hooked up with tobe2be, WC keep, and Joel. Really great to see you guys again. I really feel honored that tobe2be drove all the way out just to see me. Way cool bro and thanks for doing it. It was great hanging with you again :-)

We left around 12:30-1:00 Sunday afternoon and the ride back was really nice. I was supposed to hook up with Albino but he never answered the phone. LOL he calls back when I was in PA already LOL but all is good. We stopped by the Iron Skillet at exit 215 in PA ate for an hour, and left again. Trouble started about an hour afterwards when the snow started to come down. It was not too bad at first but when you turned on your brights, OMG, it was like a wall of snow. I mean you could not see anything. The speed dropped from 70-75 right down to 50-60. Really sucked LOL. Again made more stops as it seemed to be a bit more harsh than when I was driving to Jersey. I actually got lost because of a construction that was occuring that I ended up on I76 instead of staying on 80. And because of the weather, I was not going to swerve into the correct ramp and ended up riding it out until I got to a state route and took that back to 80. I actually found this funny because we were doing between 35-50 and I was trying to slow down and let people pass me but they insisted on staying behind me LOL.

I ended up stopping for a long break in Indiana as I was too exhausted to keep on going. Next thing I know, Lynn was nudging me saying it is 6:00 AM. I was like UGH. Started driving again and found out the roads were only slightly better. As I entered Illinois, I was again hit with another blast of major snow. Thank God there was very little traffic (as if everyone decided to stay home) and got home around 10:30 AM.

I tell ya, I am never doing that again. Especially on a "just a weekend" drive unless you purchase 10 grand worth of stuff LOL.

That was pretty much it. Sorry this was long but I figured I would give you all the details :-)

Yes iron skillet i loved that place. also i do not think the duck tape manufactures and users of america (DTMUA) endors the use of thier fine product in that way one cell phones. that would be cool if their was a group called th DTMUA
