    -Help- Explain

Ok im new to Automags and would like to switch from my wgp cocker to a 68 automag but i need to know how to work them and what they are made of (parts it has etc.)they look alot more complicated than cockers, can someone please tell me what the parts are or direct me somewhere that tellls me. Im a newb. Oh and also show pics here of your setups so i can get and idea of what i should get for a 68 automag classic (i am planning on getting this gun and i have heard good things). Thanks!

more complicated than a cocker? i dont think so. Mags consist of a valve, bolt, body, body rail, trigger frame. It probably gets complicated when u get down to the valve parts but thats not anything you have to mess with anyway. Mags are known for their simplicity. Plus the valve and bolt fit together to make just one small peice inside of ur gun. Easiest gun to field strip. When you have to that is.

Actually the automag is less complicated than the cocker in my opinion. Here are some animations of the function:

If you can, get hold of the video that AGD has made. They sell them at the online store for a cheap price

My universal rule for that very good question is this:

          Shoot one.
If you like it, it's worth it.

I shot my buddy's X-Mag and now I'm saving for a ULE Emag after a 4+ year Mag hiatus.

Mags are dependable and easy to care for. There's significantly less to go wrong with one than with a cocker (it hurts a bit to admit that).

not that the 68 is a bad gun, but Depending on what youve got for cash you might want to consider going for a RTPro

                  good gun very upgradable
