Warped where did you hear that? Without the eye and set on factory fast the E-blade is capped at like 10.3 something. With the eye on and on factory fast it will go as fast as your little fingers move. Also you can adjust the settings and get higher than 10 without the eye

Thats ok I was just wondering. Squid couldnt you just use a board and put some kind of tail on the trigger that will trip a beam thing. It would then register a pull and allow you to shoot. I know absolutely nothing about electronics so thats probably retarded or doesnt make sense.

It's impossible, unless you have a sear or a solenoid.. In which case it wouldn't be much of a non electro anymore

Oh my, I better proof read... anyways, I think it could be done (though perhaps more of a hassle than it's worth). As you said, it would take a board, microswitch or switch of some kind to know when the trigger is pulled, the eye, and something to actually stop the gun from firing if the ball isn't in the breech (the tricky part). You could have some solenoid operated bar or pin that stops the sear from tripping the on/off, but this probably wouldn't be very practical as it would require drilling in the rail or something like that. If you're doing it with a mag, that is. The most convenient thing would be to have a new on/off assembly that you could just swap in, but I have absolutely no idea how you could make that work.

WARPED1: On Factory Fast without the eye on the Eblade is capped at 10.2bps. With the eye or with modified timing settings(if you don't want to drill for the eye), it can shoot in excess of 20bps. It is pretty much restricted by your loader speed. In factory fast mode, the COFF time is around 68ms, which causes a big drop in speed, but with the eye on, the bolt will automatically close when paint is detected, decreasing the cycle time. Also check the debounce settings on the TREL(Trigger Release) filter. It's normally set around 020 stock, which again slows down the gun.

Yeah... I know its been said over and over and the idea is beat... but I want to say it again. It just makes me feel better

If you have the parts needed for a mech ACE to work, you have an electronic gun. You will need a solianoid to activiate some function mechanically to stop the gun from firing. You would have a microswitch (you would have to make sure it doesnt get in the way of the mech process too), a board, a solianoid (yes I cant spell it), and the eyes themselves I guess. Thats what an electronic gun has anyways, except the solianoid trips the sear (in a mag case anyways) instead of doing something to STOP the gun from shooting. That way the ACE is simply an electronic command to stop the gun from shooting in an electronic gun. So basically you would be switching the role of the solianoid (SP!!! ) to fire a gun or to stop one from firing. But you lose all of the electronic gun advantages and simplicity for almost no advantages going to the mechanical "Block" route

                            We don't all shoot mags.
                            It's solenoid.

I don't know why this is even an argument, the LVLX is very effective as an anti-chop system for mech mags ( though the ACE would be effective for Mech Cockers and such). It would be pointless to slap an ACE on for hundreds more for maybe 1 less chop out of the same amount of paint, just my 2-cents. Man I can't believe that paintball has gotten so technical since I been playing it, I used to be happy to get only 5 broken balls out of a case, now people wanna see no chops out of a case of paint.
