    Fine Print

I expect a decent amount of service from a company that I gave something around $1,000 for a product. If it was not for the rain and that one jag at the shocktech field I would not have had issues.
    End of Whine

Ya I just read the fine print on the warranty. Says customer service includes our presence at all tournies you attend for tech support.

You want to know whats even "weaker" than that? Packing up your gun and running away to another company because you had 1 problem with it.

Well. I haven't gotten my answer but I've heard several opinions. I highly doubt they'll be here as the left coast just isn't a big mag market. Oh well.

Still waiting for a response from AGD people.

Haha, I volunteered my services to Timmy today if they need a pod/gear person for Pride. Let's see if I get the chance to.

Mainly flash my board from 4.0 to 3.2 or just look over my Emag and give it a tune up.

I'm curious about the closeout on the vegas event. Did they try the casinos? Shoot most of the bigger ones have some nice venues. Orleans, Mandalay and MGM to be specific. These guys arnt run by the city and would give you favarable rates if they think you can draw guests into their establisments.

Wow, some people are complete idiots...

You want to drop AGD just because they won't hit up every tourney? Okay, go ahead, but first realize this. AGD is a small micromanagement company. They only have a staff of 16 people (give or take 2 people). It's not very easy for them to go out and promote at events and run the business at the same time. Also, being a smaller company, they have less money for this kind of stuff. That's why you don't see AGD with a pro team. AGD was never looking to target the big tourney baller team, they were looking to target the players who were interested in a quality product.

                          .

                            Indeed...

In all honesty, catering to tournament players is a waste of time. They're at best 10% of the paintball market. Makes little sense to spend the majority of your advertising budget to reach only 10%. Especially when that 10% all thinks they're entitled to free stuff.

But tournament players are more likely to spend more money than other players. For example, a rec player will buy an 80 dollar gun and a 30 dollar barrel, and use that gun for years. A tournament player will buy an Angel Speed for 900 dollars, and a 200 dollar freak kit. And the next year that same tournament player spends 1600 dollars on a Lasoya Timmy and a pipe kit.

                                You think?

I disagree. I don't think tournament players spend any more money on new equipment than equally-involved scenario players. And there's a lot more woodsballers out there.
