Have you considered Alias timmys or Empire timmys? They definitely rock, check them out.

you need something fairly fast and very compact, out of those, angel 4, but have you looked at e-mags or vikings

I don't think one can get much more compact than a mag.
Lighter? Yes, although these new set-ups (X-mags, ULE rigs) are right there with the other lightweight guns.

Keep your mag, lighten it up. Or buy the a4 and sell the mag to me!

I just purchased the MacDev Cyborg and at 2.1 pounds this thing weighs nothing. With my Flatline air system and Evo2 on it the balance is really sweet. Personal preference is always going to come into play so I definitely recommend you try and shoot as many markers as you can and see what feels right for you. On a side note, my teammate picked up an Alias and I have to say that thing is one of the fastest markers I have ever seen. Its also pretty light. Any way you choose, good luck.

I used an Alias for the weekend and HATED it. I would recommend a Viking.

Uh oh. Another "what gun should I get" thread. Time for me to do my thing...

                            IT IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE!!

Any gun works just as well for any position, it's just which one you like best. For example, what kind of pizza toppings you like. I really like cheese yet others love pepperoni. It's all about what you like best. Now, with paintball guns, it's mainly how the trigger feels and the size/weight. Some guns I don't like because of how huge *coughimpulsescough* and ugly they look. The main factor in my choosing is the trigger, though. Different guns have different feels to the triggers and most likely there is one which you will like best.

Go to the field and shoot peoples guns and find out what suits you best. Advice from people over an online forum aren't gonna help you decide what suits you best.

that is such a chipmunk mentality
