tank hydro question

    look up the word "hydrostatic" in your yellow pages. there are ussualy places locally that will do it for about $15-20. there are plenty of place on the internet too (although it will take longer with shipping.) I got mine done in one day at a local tester.

    and no, you should not be selling them out of hydro. look at it this way. if you sell it out of hydro and the person fills it anyway and hurts himself. they could come and sue you for selling them something you knew was potentially unsafe. I might also mention. most people wont pay much for a paintball tank that is out of hydro. there is a chance it wont pass and they will have to buy a new tank for the reg. you can subtract $100-150 off the price of a tank that is out of hydro. it is worth the $15 to get it back in hydro for the simple fact that you will get more for it.

      oh ok, thanks guys found a place that hydros for 18 bucks and takes only 3 days, thanks for the info

          crap i just sold a OOH tank
          and i was going to ship it today...
          i guess i will hydro it, than ship it out

          what a pain...

          i dont see where its dangerous to sell an empty tank

            it is a matter of liability.

            if you went to major used car lot an bought a used car and the brakes were bad. even if they tell you "these brakes are bad, dont drive this car" if you drive it and have accident. they are liable for selling an unsafe car.
