    Paintball Expo in Pomona CA

Went to the Paintball expo this weekend. Fun stuff. Found a couple new things, and bought them :-)

Lots of Scenario stuff there. It was kind of funny to see SmartParts being empty almost the whole time I was there, except for the promo video they did at 3:30. For a majority of the time it was the only really empty booth. Got to meet the guys at AKA. Great bunch of people. Glenn Palmer was a blast to talk to. Definately getting another Palmer in the next year.

Sadly, guess who wasn't there? Haven't figured it out? No Airgun Designs. I did see Paintball Daddy there. Had a great conversation with him. But to see every other major paintball organization there except Airgun was dissappointing. Especially since I can't get anything for my Mag in San Diego due to no local vendors carrying AGD products. Maybe next year?

Did they have the challenge matches going on this year?

Did you take any pics? Post them?

I read about this in a paintball magazine. This is like the third or fourth one right? Looks interesting, how big was it this year?

I agree. Socal gets no AGD love...

I even brought my Tunamax for a software upgrade, but there was NO westcoast representation. This place is truely cocker country. There were tons of WGP related gear and booths.

At least I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting at length with paintball OG pioneer other than TK... Glenn Palmer.

        Interesting guy indeed!

An Old timer, with lots of old skool stories, both paintball and real war stories (Vietnam).

I hung out at his both and got to look at a lot of his custom guns. Very cool stuff. I will definately be picking up a Blazer in the near future. Maybe even one of his other guns too. But first I'll have to sell one of my guns... possibly my GZ Clammy

I got to meet Capo as well! (highlight of the weekend)

We didn't take any pics but www.beayoungs.com has some posted. It was much larger this year than the past few years, pretty cool. On Saturday there was a line around the building to get in. We went on Sunday and managed to avoid the rush thankfully.

            Ditto.

I did watch some of the games though. I lost my interest when I saw one player from the "Pro" team shoot an opposing player in the face a point blank range. I think he was angry that their team lost the previous game and wanted payback.

Should of gone up to the NorCal vs SoCal game. They flashed software and TK was there. Can't be all places all the time. Jack & Coke why don't you come to our SoCal get togethers?

I'm trying to... believe me, I've spoken with DB on the phone, and I want to go!

...but when you have a 10 month old baby, free weekends are very hard to come by...

When I'm able to go, there's no socal AO day.

When there's a socal AO day, I'm not able to go...

                LOL! fatherhood and responsibility... argh!

yeah i was there too. It was an ok expo, some cool stuff, thought things would be cheaper but whatever. It did hurt my eyes though cause there was alot of cockers. Would have been cool if AGD was there to represent, but I think I did see if my eyes were right an AGD rep by the name of Clare, unless it was some other beautiful angel (correct me if I am wrong though).

They were pretty nice. They are a 1:1 replica. I think it was made of the tougher plastic but would have prefered metal. I would have loved to shot it in their test cage but they ran out of co2.

The one thing that I got was this. Look about 3/4 ways down the page.
