It's official release was at the 2000 world cup.

Very true due to the fact that obviously cocker's started that threading. By listing all those different "high" end markers it gets the communication out that it fits more then just cockers.

though they are the hot stuff now, matrices didn't take off untill too recently. Airtech Industries made the first matrix waaaay back in the day. They got popular when Gen E picked up the owning rights to the matrix.

Yeah if you want to consider CnC's as the only "Xmags". But the Emag Extreem, which was essentially the same thing (i.e., cocker threaded, aluminum body, etc.) has been around for a couple of years.

does anyone actually own the other verson of the x-mag? the blocky version? if i could find one i would get that....since everyone chooses the c and c version the block may be a rare marker someday.
Tom was the last of a now extinct breed, a breed of players who build a community, a breed of owners who gave to the sport never taking more than what they deserved. I hope to see you at the feild again some day....

The non C&C version is basically a Euro/ADGE exclusive. It's not that they are "rare",there just "rare" to make the trip way over here. There are a few bodies floating around here, but most people prefer the C&C.
