AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.

What do they make that is subpar to another companies product but costs more? There stuff isnt much, and the only thing I have found thats just stupid overpriced is the new C4 pants (like 160 bucks)
They make ok stuff, but I can get the same quality for cheaper by another comp[any. Take Boomers, ok barrel, but not worth over $100!
I'd buy an SP Progressive or AA and get the same quality. Or a nice CP.
yar but the boomstick looks badass! and its name is badass! seriously though, its probably just selling cause everyone knows its name ... when i first was playing i remember people kept mentioning boomsticks as being great barrels, so i have always had a hankering to get one... and my friends cocker does look pretty cool with the boomstick on it teeheee

Finally, someone else realizes it! I'll admit I have Dye pants made in China, but my Dye jersey (2002) was made in the USA. I will no longer buy products made in third world countries and will not support companies that do.
What's even worse is Dye's slogan of "Designed in the Republic of California", leading you to believe that the proucts you buy are made in the US, not assembled by some monkey in a rice paddy.

...nah... Some of Dye's stuff may be quality, but I've never had the privilege of using any of it. The only stuff I'll buy of theirs are the jersies. I have a pair of Core pants (03) that I still regret buying over Empire or Nexed... and like I said above, invisions are the suck
and I dont do any business via online paintball stores.
Originally posted by NoFearPaintballer i wouldnt mind seeing a new line of an AGD gun. then put a patent on the valve and sue SP and be the heros of paintball!.
AGD has so many innovations under their belt, that if they had patented them all, as you are suggesting, there would have been absolutley no growth in the paintball industry over the last 10 years. Tom doesnt play like that.
Just to let you guys know, my DYE gloves are absolutely amazing, comfortable, and I bought them from DYE direct for 19 bucks. They are the 2002 version. My DYE 2001 gloves also were amazing, and put up with A LOT, such as days when I forgot my ski gloves and used them during slalom practice, bwahahah. My DYE tee shirt is...well...it's a tee shirt. My DYE Bonebrake jacket rocks!
However, with all that said, you have to wait until it's "last year's model" so that you get half-pricing on everything. 40 bucks for gloves - nuhuh. 19, however, is a diff. story.
