Please help me find this marker

I play now with a customed Tippmann 98 with a mech single trigger, running a 20oz CO2 on a short drop, and a 7.5" Bigshot and revvy. I love it so much. My style is all about snapshooting which I do very well. I don't know what it is about this marker that lets me do it but nothing else I've tried appealed to me.

I think it is some combination of the low bore axis and the distance between the grips. I want a more consitant, better built, faster marker but cannot find one that suits my style. I see that mags have low bore axis but they are too short in the body. I will play with my tippy and be happy but if there is a better marker out there that i don't know of i'd like to know. I abhorr double triggers and must have a firm grip on the marker.

Basically I'm shopping based entirely on ergonomics, and weird ones at that.

I cannot seem to upload a pic. Keep in mind the way my trigger is now is pretty good, I have no trouble doing ~7bps, which is, well, something. An electro trigger like my single trigger Mako frame would be better.

For some reason, I think a single trigger RT ULE custom would interest you.

You can't run those on Co2 can you? So that brings up tanks and everything-mymy the change is so scary.

I don't shoot enough paint for anti-siphoned, regged CO2 to be any problem with a medium pressure marker.

if you do a search, you can find a foregrip extender for the automag. that way you can have the great automag, with the nice long grip style you like.

          here is a pic:

Have you considered getting yourself the E-Bolt for your 98c?

Yes, but it's very expensive, to put on a tippmann. And my tippmann is top cocking now, see my old setup on palmer-pursuit.com, stabs, customer setups.

that basically IS my tippmann, only a mag! If I can set something up like that, with a nice fast single trigger that will run on CO2, I would be in heaven.

Mags seem to be almost rare around here, I've never played with or against on actually and don't see them at mailorders. It seems there are a lot of options, like they are almost custom markers. Like the paintball equivalent of the 1911 market, overwhelming amount of options for a newbie.

                  Don't sweat it.

There aren't as many options as it seems. You for instance run CO2,so you need a classic valve. You like a single trigger,so the stock grip is a single.L10 is pretty much a must have. The rest is mostly cosmetic or preferance or to save weight.

Find a nice Classic, used for around $150.Add L10 when you can and go with that foregrip. That'll get you started.Once you start shooting it,you can decide what you want to change from there.

Will that grip fit onto a minimag?

What IS a minimag? And a micromag? I'm thinking Mini is good, but I don't know.

That pic is of a minimag so I'm guessing.....yup.

Minimag is pretty much just a Mag with that slotted SS body.

                      This is a Micromag.....

Basically an all aftermarket mag made by ProTeam Products utilizing an AGD valve.

OIC. I was thinking the minimag had a vertical bottle adaptor for some reason.

Yeah it does. You can add one to a classic mag,but the Mini comes pre installed.Looks as tho you can't have both with that grip.
