Umm... no. If that second pic wasn't animated, then it'd be fine, but it's an animated .gif and its file size is 301K. Make it non-animated or find something else.

I'd remove all the text in your sig, or reduce to a one liner. Use a reasonably sized pic if you want... what you have is too big.

The site is free for all members, we'd like to keep it that way. Consuming too much bandwidth will eventually cost too much, and AGD will be forced to use banners or charge.

Army the last thing I want to do is defend RaV3n_Pa1ntba|| on anything. But the sig image hosting is not done on the AO servers. The forums just hold the link. It's up to the user to put the image somewhere, that somewhere is the one who foots the bill for BW.

That being said, the huge sig is just plain inconsiderate to modem users. But I think we all know that RaV3n_Pa1ntba|| is the definition of inconsiderate.

yep cause my sig is way bigger than ARMYS and lot of other peoples too i think cause mods and you peeps hate me so much you just like terrorizing me so you make me go from a sweet sig to a crappy sig or not so neat. Whatever... as long as i get to enjoy a automags only forum its worth it....

Seriously though. While a siggy file can be cool, if it is too big, it definately defeats the purpose... Simply put your mouse over your icon, right click and select properties. If it say more than 20000 bytes in size, it is too big. Pick another or resize the one you got.

Yup its a conspiricy against you, the whole world is jelous of your excessivly large sig.
Ok lets think about this here buddy. Not everyone has cable or dsl, people still use those phone line thignys called 56k. Now why should they have to wait over a minute and thirty seconts jsut to view one thread. This is assuming that noone else in the thread has big signatures.
Lets all just get big signatures and chase away half of our memebrs. Hell, I have some pretty sweet ones that are about 2mb ill just throw a few of those in.

I think your signature as I see it now is ok...

I trust my mods to moderate the boards. This includes telling people to shrink down or tone down thier signature. If they are "harassing" you its probably because you arent complying with thier requests. I remember that I took out the dancing squirrel with the big balls when you first joined up. Funny, but not appropriate.

If signatures are overly large, busy, or long, then we have the right to request you tone it down. Granted it doesnt tax our server since the images arent hosted here - but they DO still slow peoples browsers down.

If you have signatures you are all expected to know how to keep their physical size and file size within reason. Even basice paint programs can do this. It isnt I or my mods duty to resize your graphics. That would take us forever! Right now we play it by ear and let people get a feel for what is right. If we continue to have problems I will make a maximum physical/file size and it will be strictly enforce.
