AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
His stuff is really cool, I definitely liked that one... but now you know why it takes a year and a half to get something back jk, everyone needs some free time and distractions or else you'd go nuts working nonstop.
I have definately noticed a lot more "pro-cheater board" talk at my local pb store. "pro" not as in "professional", but "pro" as in "in favor of".
Most of the "trick" custom guns people bring in to show off revolve around some kinda of WAS board (or equivalent 0 debounce feature) hack job.
I've seen an Angel with a special WAS board 3 shot burst setup where it only fires 1 shot if you slowly pull the trigger trying to test it for bounce. But if you come off the tirgger just right the 0 debounce will pick up any residual vibrations in the trigger and fire like crazy.
I've seen people talking about wanting certain guns so they can get insane ROF via bounce *cough*viking*cough*nyx*cough*
I've seen increadible machinegun E-blades just rip at high ROF via trigger bounce/marker kick combinations.
I have no problems with high ROF, but these hardcore "balla" attitudes and disregard for "safe" marker setups are alarming.
Most of these super "agg" guns are so ultra sensitive and prone to accidental discharges and overshooting that I really believe systems like the Tippy RT, Automag RT (set up for sweet-spotting), EMAG hybrid mode are MUCH MUCH safer guns. Now how bad is that?
