Mill and anno an Evolution-X? (pics)

    Should I do it?

I'm looking at taking a stock chrome/black evolution X and adding minor milling and splash annodizing. Cost is a non issue, and I'm planning on sending it to Jackal Machine if I decide I want the work done.

Ok, here is the gun stock:

The milling would be a between tubes window that matches the sight rail window:

The anno would be gloss grey with black and silver splash like the old westwoods. It would go on the body, feed neck, foregrip, drop, and a short and long freak tips.

What do you guys think? Am I ruining a classic or making the uber gun?

Personally I prefer function over form. I've never been a big fan of fades, splashes, acid wash or any other "fancy" anodizing. Fancy milling on the other hand I have been known to like. I like the classy look of the all black Evo. This is a very personal decision.

why would you want to mill it. i think evos are the best looking cockers around, and no one will know its an evo if you mill it, which will probably lower the resale value. just keep it how it is, and maybe give it a new ano job, but no milling.

Get a black to blue gloss anno, simple and extremely h0tt. Also, I don't know what you have in mind for milling but I'd Keep it as it is.

sounds ok however i would get rid of the sight rail too and maybe continue the back ribbed portion thingy over the top and connect the 2 sides with it. i really dont like the sight rails on any cocker for some reason lol

It's a beauty, don't touch it in my opinion. Splash is very early 90's. Nice gun
