I love RTs. Personally I could not give you an unbiased oppinion. I would take my gun over any other gun on the market right now. There isnt any thing else that I want or need out of a paintball gun. It shoots consistantly. It shoots fast. It doesnt chop. Its light. Its small. Its low maintianence. ITS MINE DARN IT, NO ONE CAN HAVE IT!

I would have to say about the same. Its as accurate as any cocker with less kick. It dosn't have the efficenty of a cocker but its faster and you can't break a ball. what more could you want?

RT's just refuse to quit. I was playing last Wednesday night in pouring rain, with the outside temperature in the high 40's at most and had zero gun problems. Just ran the thing with my .695 back and kept it tilted down when i wasn't shooting so the water drained out. I think I was the only person there who never had a gun problem that night.
I haven't ever had a problem with the gun that wasn't caused by my own stupidity. You won't regret buying an RT.
Oh, and get the y-grip

Even with my SFL E-Mag, I really do love mine as well. It's simple and can outshott anything on the marker if you know what to do to them

I'd personally reccommend an RT. Mine is all I need when I play: fast, relaible, and durable. The valve is a proven design, and with an intelliframe and level 10 bolt it will treat you well. I'll admit that I don't get the massive speed that electros are known for, but you will get enough to play what ever style of play that you want. I've used mine in a tourney, but I use it mostly for rec-ball.
The high point of the marker is, like all guns of the Automag family, the ease of maintenance, reliability, and the modular nature of the design itself. Break down is simple: one field strip screw and you have the gun field stripped and ready to clean. There is also a distinct lack of moving parts. I like that because i am of the belief that if there are less parts, there are less thing that can possibly go wrong. You will also get the low profile that is inherient to all of the Automags as well.
The downside is that unless you get the new aluminium parts, i.e. the X valve, ULE body, and a milled rail like the Rogue Rail, they tend to be a bit heavy. Personally I don't mind this: I actually prefer a heavier gun. Also, if you buy the old style main body (the stainless steel one) it will have the old style "Twist Lock" barrels and there are not too many barrels for that anymore. And, if you find one, they tend to be $10 to $20 more than a regular barrel.
As for how they stack up against other markers, well, I wouldn't trade mine for just about anything.
But, here is a link to pbgear.com's review page of RT/Pro's . I hope that helps as well.
A little tip for those kind of pages, look at the less favorable reviews, they tend to be more honest and give you an idea of what the problems are.Giant flying dogs are gonna give you a flame-thrower enema!!!

RT
In my opinion the rate of fire on an RT is quite fast considering it is a mech. My favorite part of the RT is the fact that it is so reliable. I also own a 2k3 cocker and i find that it is slightly more consistant on its shots, but it also breaks down more often. The RT is great for however u use it. Ive used it in a few tournys and usually rec ball. Overall its worth more than u pay for it.TEAM TREMOR

Welcome to AO!
I live in a house with a classic RT, my RT pro, and the boyfriend's e cocker. The other day, we started unpacking our gear at the same time. I had both RT's cleaned, oiled and put away, all the clothes washed, had a shower and read my email while he was still messing around with alcohol and q-tips on his cocker for another hour. It's all about simplicity of design and easy maintenance.
Also, if you get the ULE, it will be just as light, if not lighter than most other guns out there. With a good adjustable tank and a little practice, you will be shooting fast enough to keep up with the more expensive electros; but then you'll still be in business on a rainy day while they'll all be out of the game

I have owned/shot many guns before. Angels, Impulses, Matrices, Cockers. As soon as I bought my RTP and started putting stuff on it, I wasn't going to buy a gun from any other company. AGD owns, bottom line. The RTP is hassle free. I have not had one problem with it, ever.Comment

My Rt Pro has been perfect. At most I break 1 ball per playing day. I also have no problems with performance, and can easily match any electro in shooting speed.Comment
