I was taking pictures and videos both saturday and sunday for Flagpull.com.

All I heard, all weekend from players were ***** ***** ***** about the reffing.

Well, theres another side to that story...these games lasted about an average of a minute...with 3-4 refs on every field, they did their bests to watch every player and call everything as fairly as possible. If there were more refs in there people wouldve been *****ing about them being in the way of lanes.

Jeff Krupin, Anthony and John Call, Rosie, all of the refs and master refs did their damndest to keep their eyes on what was going on. When there is a bunker, a counter bunker, and another bunker in 3 seconds with guns shooting 18 balls a second you have to understand how hard those calls are to make.

In the VIP Green room, the refs staging area...all I heard and saw from the refs were their frustrations with the games, they were a bit understaffed but were sick of getting *****ed at by players.

You have players who were 'not shot before I shot him' and players who want wiped off, you have ******** on the sidelines complaining about a game where they don't belong.


Before you consider not coming to an event again...i'd like to see you try and ref something as quick and tight as arenaball.

Overall the reffing seemed good to me, but I only played one game on field 3 and no games on 1 or 2.

This was the first Maddness I have been to and it was a really good time. I never really liked 3-man, and this was the 1st 3-man I have played in about 2 years, but it was still pretty fun. It was nice meeting Wyn and Mango. Just wish we would have done better in the semi's.

And Clare (sp? hehehe) must have tons of pics, where they at?
