one, i thought you said he traded it. two, i bet the guy who picked up that deal was pretty excited. oh, and maybe he was just going for the 03 since they have wgp hinge triggers on them, unless he already had one on the vortex.

barberjohn may have it figured out... if he doesen't know his stuff it's possible he went for the '03 because of the hinge. But I'd say that a nice slider with a decent 3-way is far better than a WGP hinge with a stock 3-way.
