Don't know, but my guess would be because of the rediculous suggestion of contacting the FTC regarding this phantom monopoly SP is purported to have.

You guys do realize what a patent is, right? It's a legal grant entitling an inventor a type of limited monopoly for either 14 or 17 years (depending on the type of patent) as incentive to invent.

The merits of the tactics SP has chosen to enforce their patents, and the way in which the patents were granted/modified are highly suspect. But one thing SP ain't is a monopoly.
