Opinion on Z-boards...

I searched, and each thread turned into a "my halo is better" or "nu-uh, my egg is" and finally "they both suck, get a warp/apache/qloader/whatever"

Anyone have anything to say about their Z-board? Battery life? Speed? Noticeable differences?

Anyone have a video?

z board egg?

just installed my board yesterday. Didn't have fresh batteries and raced it against a y board egg. Both emptied at the same time, hopefully its just the batteries.

Zboard also spins a little longer after the eye is blocked. So it kinda force feeds a bit.

Egg shells are poop as well.

Faster than a Y board. I've owned every board for the Evo II. The Z is by far the fastest. It actually speeds up as it detects paint kinda like an overdrive.

I have not seen any problems with draining batteries but then again I get my batteries and Costco and change them alot. If it helps you any I play back and go through about 4 cases a day.

For me it is very consistent and I use it on my E Orracle. BUT the Halo B is still faster and I use that on non closed bolt markers. I put both the Halo and the Evo II on a Viking and the Halo allows me to shoot faster on the VIking.

If you have a Evo II get a Z Board. Does that help you any?

sounds good guys, I heard some people saying it helps with battery drain, and things like that.

i've got an angel, would that hinder it at all (push past detents, etc)?

Does it pulse/slow like a halo does when empty? Like adjusts itself?

I know nothing, except its an upgrade board for the egg, and it needs its own harness.

Bottom line is it's the fastest thing VL has out period.It smokes all previous VL loaders.Batt consumtion seems about the same or just a tad better w/ the Z.

Trust me the Z is alot faster and consistent than the Y and since it is not a true force feed it will not push past your detents.

I'm pretty much set on a z, but is there anything bad about the board? Not criticizing the egg itself, but the BOARD?

These boards are for Eggs, not the revvy 12v/x/empire/turborev boards

bump.. I played with mine today, and a teammate used his Apache
No problems, was keeping up fine, sensi was working

Anyone seem to have their paddles bending a little bit?
