got my IAO 2003 vid today!!

If you were at last year's IAO, Nick from oneshot productions was there taping tons of stuff. He got alot of video of the AO guys, and the infamous AFTICA/Black Cell match. I JUST got my vid today, and plan on watching it on my lappy tonite. Overall, the cover came out nice...and John McGown (Paintcheck in the chatroom) is on the front cover...he's the only one I recognize there. After I watch it, I will write up a review here. I know several people are anxious to see this (including me), so, my night is planned :)

Just finished watching it...not too bad...some of the camera angles are off. My one gripe would be that they only showed the names of half the teams the taped...if you didnt know who the teams actually were...you wouldnt know who was playing. They did flash the names of the semi and finals teams when they played...but other games (primarily at the beginning) there was nothing. Other than that...not too bad. Nick worked hard on this (we who were there saw him taping almost constantly...), and I am glad it finally made it. Too bad no AFTICA games . Oh well. Lots of X-mag shots though.

How was the music? Were there real bands in this one? That was my ONLY gripe about the other ones, but last I heard they were signing bands on.... Nick, if you read this, check your email, I might have good news for you...

Music was done by down for five. They played a couple of songs at the beginning...then did some shots of the band playing live with music at the end. Pretty good choice of music, IMO.
