    Paintball Video Project

    Okay so here's the deal:

I'm a guy who's into video production. I have a digital camcorder to record footage, and access to my friend's powerful computer to edit footage. And of course, I live for paintball.

In the coming months, I will be recording footage of paintball (and possibly other sports) to make into a video.

From what paintball footage I've already seen (Smoked, OLN paintball world cup coverage, and FOX Sports Net paintball coverage) I've found some particular things look good on screen: 1) Bunkering 2) Rushing 3) Snap shooting 4) Being able to actually SEE the paintballs.

So I need some input from you guys. What would you like to see? What camera angles/techniques look good to you? What music sounds best for such a video? What about a little humor?

When I'm near completion of the video (God knows when that will be), or if enough people show interest on how it's progressing, I'll get back to you.

    Thanks.

as for music, this is where i excell in whn it coem to film editing. Id all depend on how you wna tto set it up. Do you want the shot to go along with the music, or the music the shot. music

breakout at reg. speed.: Fast paced punk/ metal
slower motion segments: Trip hop or Drum and bass techno
Interview: personaly i like to mess with peoples minds so ill put in some neal dimond in the background
Regular play: normal sounds of the game.
also a cool shot would be to have two cameras filming the same game and at different points switch it up and mabey review a hit from both angels. anyway it makes sence to me in y minde lol.

doesn't look like you "excell" in much.

rob- get a copy of 300fps. Probably the highest rated pb dvd out, very entertaining. Take some tips from there.

        Strategy shots...

I watched the World Cup on OLN and if you were a non paintball player you wouldn't be able to tell that the back guys were cover lanes and letting their front guys move up.

        AGD Did someone call me?

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

You want humor, get footage of some of Suicidal Snypers antics. A superman dive/belly flop right into snow while going for the bunker will always be a classic
