    Why?

Why are there so many mis-conceptions in and about paintball?

Mis-conceptions like "Autocockers always need to be fixed after every game"
    or, "Automags are indestructible"
and even, "Paintball guns can kill"

        ok
1)autcockers don't need to be messed with after every time you use it. but they do need to be messed with more than any other gun out there.
        2)automags aren't indestructable, but it's they're so damn close it's scary.
3)paintball guns could kill you. but then again, so can a screwdriver, or a teaspoon of water. just depends on how you use it. hell, i could kill you with my thumb, if one were so inclined.

My girlfriend said that if i bought another paintball gun, she'd leave me........ I sure am going to miss her.

you proved you point in the same sentence that you stated it. that's rather amusing

Ignorance is the reason that there are misconceptions. If people would actually learn what they are talking about, then there wouldn't be so many fasle statements.

"Men think they think upon great politcal questions, and they do; but they think with their party, not independently; they read its literature, but not that of the other side; they arrive at convictions, but they are drawn from a partial view of the matter in hand and are of no particular value. They swarm with their party, they feel with their party, they are happy in their party's approval; and where the party leads they will follow, whether for right and honor, or through blood and dirt and a mush of mutilated morals."
