On/Off Switch for impulse

They say without a on/off switch when you take off Co2 the gun shots by itself. They say you need one. But a on/off switch comes standard with the Maxflo Regualtor which is standard for a Impulse.

Now do I need a on off switch for impulse?
If I don't is there any special thing you have to do to make the Co2 shoot correctly?

I have an Impulse. My Maxflow may be one of the older ones but it didn't come with on/off switch. If your's does you dont need one on your tank, but if it doesnt just put one on your tank and it will shoot just fine..

Oh and yes it will shoot by itself if you take the tank out without an on/off..Pretty embarrassing..
