    Galactic Z-Body

Has anybody used the Galactic Systems Z-Body? Are they any good and do they actually put backspin on the ball? Are they worth 250 dollars?

for what i've heard about them, is that they work like 20-30% of the time. that meaning that they only 'work like the shoud' about 1 out of 5 shots. besides you will need that HUGE bore barrel, something like .720 in order to get anything at all. if not it will be nothing more than a regular mag.

again thats just what i've heard, though i've heard it from numerous people who have owned them.

save ya cash and invest in some good knee pads... its much more rewarding to put 2 on the gogs mid bunker move than rely on some intermittent and poorly working backspin induceing device.

        Hey TJ
I bought one on Ebay about 4 months ago- heres tha deal:
It doesnt work well with Level 10 bolts, you got a 50/50 chance of the bolt diameter being a little too big & it jamming.
I tried it with my Xvalve and sure enough, it stuck.
Tried it with my classic valve and...well, I couldnt really tell a difference, even with the backspin pad dialed all the way in. I was using an Evil pipe with a .695 bore.
        Bottom line: Unimpressed.
The only thing that was cool was I bought it for $105 & sold it for $185. made a nice little profit

Thanks for the info guys. Would using a Lapco Z Barrel work. It was made primarily for the Z-Body. I think the diameter is like .72.

            Info

The Z body is sweet. All you need to do is use a harder paint like blaze and the barrel you are asking about is .697 Lapco barrel. If you know what you are doing you can get your mag to shoot just like a flatline on a tippmann. Too many people try it out for two seconds and then say it does not work. You just need to know the principle of "hop up" to get it to rock. Plus it looks nicer than a stock mag body.
