NEW Centerflag Dynaflow pics, for anyone who cares

Just thought I'd post these up, for any mag users interested in a new tank. Choices for adjustables intended for use on mags is mostly limited to dynaflows/hyperflows, Maxflos, Flatlines, and maybe those Nitroduck ones.

    I chose the dynaflow because:
-its relatively light (2 lbs 10 oz)
-seems well made, had a good rep
    -compact
-NOT a smart parts product (Maxflo)
-NOT discontinued, or going to be discontinued (Flatline)

Note the change on the new dynaflows. The old ones had the dovetail rail integrated with the reg, and when the rail broke the whole reg had to get replaced. The new one has a replaceable dovetail rail, which is held on by the 5 screws on the top.

Those take 5000psi fills? 'Cause I know some of the PE ones do.

No. The reg seems to be rated to 5000 psi, but the tank is only a 4500. From what Ive seen, the weight for the 5000 psi tanks is a good bit higher than the equivilantly sized 4500 psi tanks, so much so that I dont consider it worth it.

I imagine you could take the dynaflow reg and slap it on a 5000 psi tank. I'd check with centerflag first.

Tanks and regs are tested far higher than what there actual use is for, although I would never use them for anything higher than what they are meant for.

But I definitly like the tank, it has a nice small reg

Doropaintball.com. I called them and ordered it. They had it out the same day I bought it. I especially appreciate the fact that the saleman went to their stockroom and looked at the tank to verify it was their new style one.

Looks nice but I like my Centerflags because u can offset them w/ a Kapp DZ. It's cool that you can take the dovetaill off if you don't want it.

the centerflag regs fail at 26,000psi or so. And the failure point is the on/off. An o-ring blows out.

they don't know when or if any the metal parts will fail. They never were able to make anything else fail.

So a 3k reg could be put on a 4.5k tank, and filled to 4.5k? I got one off ebay like that and the guy said he was sponsored by Centerflag. I called Centerflag and they said that they did put those regs on 4.5k tanks. Anyone else heard of this?

I've had some difficulties with mine leaking out the out pressure adjust nut when I go past 700 PSI. Some one said that there is a breaking in period with those. I'm more than a little peeved about it... If you could, let me know if you have the same thing happen to you, please?
On the upside, Centerflag has absolutely wonderful customer support, and will bend over backwards to help you out. Good people.

has anyone esle had that problem with thier Dynaflow?
