Die Cast Frame and Y Grip

I'm looking at doing a project. I have a WGP Ranger (pump) and was looking at getting mag grips for it. I noticed that the die cast frame and my ranger frame look exactly the same. Down to the pin holes and trigger. This got me thinking, could I put a y grip on my pump?

My question is if there is any differnce in the firing mechanics of the two frames? Like different pin placements or sear style. I'll probably get a chance to check this out on the weekend, but interested to see if my idea has any chance to work. I realize I'll have to replace the internals on the frames, but so far there is chance.

Very simple question, All AGD upgrade frames fit on all mags (excluding the old rt) right?

Yea, the only differance would be the RT (Old Style) grip vs the Automag and RTPro grip. Other than the Field Strip Screw vs Banjo Bolt hole sizes.
