I just put in a vice with wood that way will not distort end. Mine came out because I forgot to put the rubber bumper back in when I put my gun back together.

Send it to me. Those bolts are worth their weight in gold to me. I'll send you the newest design in replacement.

                    Curious,

What are you going to do with a broken bolt?

EDIT... Its not broken anymore... I polished the crap out of the bolt stem and somehow it stopped leaking. Ill still send it out if you like.

So... the new question is what you are going to do with a 1st gen bolt ?

                      That's just it.

I take the first gen bolts and tap out the pin and then polish the stem to the point that it's a mirror finish. It lets you run a looser carrier/o-ring fit than with an unpolished stem.

The new bolts have a one-piece center unit, so polishing the stem is a bit more of a daunting task.

hehe i remember that happened to king pin at an NE AO day and after i checked everything to see what was wrong with the gun i found out the bolt stem was sticking out like twice as far (in fact i think that gun came from you butters!) so i showed the rest of the guys and gecko grabbed it and ran into a wall with it a couple times and it was back in spec

                          Oh,

                          its that all.

Yeah the one I got now post polishing slides like butter on the 0.5 and 0 carrier.

You can see your face on the boltstem.

How are the new ones made?

BlackVCG if you still want it PM me... you wont even need to tap this thing out or polish it
