    Paintball selection Advice.......please!

    Hi,
With the warm weather approching here in New England i am looking for a decent "backyard" paintballs. I dont need any special torney paint, just good ol reliable paint that will not BUST in my barrel. The barrel i will have for spring/summer will be Custom Products "CP" 1 piece with a bore of 685 or 689......im just looking for a brand name and type.....(Medium Bore, and so on)
Thanks and sorry if this is a real Noobie question...

Try Draxxus Midnight. Its kinda got a hard shell and is in the middle of the road as far as price goes.

I'm part of a scenario team and we practice / play with Midnight and either Smart parts AA or Dye Boomstick barrels. Now we have very very few barrel breaks with those combinations. You will get some bounces with that paint so be aware of that.

i think seconds will work great for backyard paintball. they are cheap and pretty decent. You might get some chops but hey, you're just tryin to have fun in your backyard.

Note: Always wear your mask while paintballing, even if you're in your backyard or basement.

Midnight? Thats not exactly economical.I play in my backyard i.e. woods. Me and my friends play 1 on 1s to help our skills. Blue streak or ZAP sport work fine for me.

playing in a basement? Come on of course I live in florida where just about nobody has a basement.

I shot through my house before. I shot from the foyer up to the ceiling of the upstairs bathroom.

looking back on it I was lucky to even get it through the doorframe with my old spyder TL plus.

And I doubt any AOer's would play with out masks.

Back on subject RPS is pretty good for the money. Just watch out for abnormal prices.

seconds are the most viable though

on subject just try alot of different paints. seriously look into seconds or discolored paints.
                          i hate this computer.

I'm very partial to RPS/PMI Premium myself, my Lapco Bigshots love the stuff. It's medium bore. You could also try Bigball (also from RPS) which is a lil cheaper.

Try firstcallpaintball.com, good prices, and if you buy 4 cases at a time (have your buddy split em with ya), it's free shipping. They ship from VA, and you're a damned sight closer than I am (here in CA).

yeah! I loved the super swirl I had it worked great. It even worked after I accidentally left it outside in florida humidity for a few hours.
gogged my friend with it the very next weekend. And I bought it from wall-mart so ha.
and it was still better than the field crap.
still my fav. paint, but it pushes $15 for 500. And I dont want to have to buy online my dad would talk about me spending more money on paintball.
He thinks $280 for a Brand new Mag with rubberized foregrip macrolines and a barrel is way to expensive for what he saw.
