    SP Irony

Isn't it ironic how AGD and Smart Parts made the smart parts valve in a joint effort and now Smart Parts is stabbing everyone in the back? How many of those valves were made anyways? Are they any good?

No, I don't find it ironic.

It would be ironic if SP actually gave AGD a cease and desist order but to the best of my knowledge, this has not happened and AGD has voluntarily stopped the manufacture of E/X-Mags.

If SP didn't say to stop then why is agd stopping production? Is there another motive we don't know about? Did agd want to stop production anyways? Makes you think.

          Bro,

AGD stopped on its own accord. Tom made a post a little while back which detailed his reasons for doing so.

          - He feels that the emag platform is outdated.
          - He wants to attempt to build a new valve.
          - He wishes to avoid litigation.

There are probably more reasons, but I'm tired.

The smart valve was as good as a normal valve. It worked good like a normal mag valve, but it did not make good on all of the claims it made like shooting further or breaking less paint. Basically it was a $350 classic valve.

              er....no...

AGDE has taken on a new position as NPS Europe. They will still do AGD stuff, but the modular Xmag bodies are not high on their agenda, so production is stopping for a bit.

Does he really think the emag is outdated? It's more advanced then the RTP. If AGD thinks its outdated then why isn't he updating it? I mean, sure the xmag is more advanced but its only the ACE and some body stuff. If AGD thinks its outdated, they need to make a replacement. Not one that will take 3 years...

Really? The RTP is really more outdated then the emag? You really think?

eGuns get outdated very easily. They are like computers. There is a totally seperate market for mechanical guns, and right now he is going to focus on that becuase he has some great breakthroughs for mechanical mags.

they got those breakthroughs by research and money. If they put a little more towards a new electro maybe they could really storm the electro market. With an electro the company should constantly update in order to keep up with new stuff. AGD is know for innovation, they can do it.

What's ironic is Smart Parts' advertising

                        Example:
"We don't follow trends, we set them" eh...i think all their guns are either bought or copied.

O_o please inform me I don't really follow..... Im not sure if you know but this is all about how SP had it(the concept which led to the patent) first. In no way do I agree with it but I mean I dont see copies of them...

Thats what hes doing right now there are working on a new E-grip that will be used with the ULT trigger so that they dont have to use the huge battery and what not. Hes porb working on other stuff for the E-Mag but we are just gonna have to wait for that. I believe he said there may be a new E-Mag in a year or so IF they think its the right move to make considering the Smart Parts crap.

Actually, I was thinking that it would be ironic that, if way back when, Tom put a trade mark on the tublar look of Mags, and then could now sue SP for making that 03 Shocker look like a Mag.
I know that you can't put a trademark on the look of things, but it would be funny none the less...
