    if by concept, you mean electronic paintball guns, then you're wrong. They didn't have itr first at all. They were off the mark by several years. This is well documented. But since the US patent office is underfunded and consequently staffed by morons, you can basically get a patent for anything, even if it already exists (I know someone who snuck patents by the examiners for "fire" and "the wheel").

          what I find funny is the fact Smart Parts patents everything they think they get their paws on...

          note I didnt say they design... IIRC they have yet to sell anything the company has internally innovated themselves.

              Actually, the 03 shocker is a little like a matrix, but lighter and possibly faster . But I was under the impression that the guy who actually designed the 03 shocker didn't even work for SP at the time he designed it and was going to market it independently, but along came SP and bought the rights to it and patented it.
