    Pumps

Can any of you pump players/owners point me towards some pump sites. Where is the best place to get your pump/stock class gear.
Some phantom specific Q's too (all stock of course): The pump stroke, whats it compare to. Short, long? The trigger pull, what semi does it compare closest to.
    Thanks for the input

Thanks for the replys. I've been to the phantom site and the am site. I'm really interested in these illusion pumps. I'm going to have to look in to them some more. Anybody ever used on of these.

            YEAH! What they said!

Illusion pumps are pretty good, they were obviously made to integrate a lot of aftermarket stuff. Illlusion's down side is that they have no autotrigger. But I like that they convert from SC to D/F so fast. I look at the Phantom as a machine. I've been using mine for... wow... 6 years? Still scares the locals. :P

With the phantoms do you have any trouble using constant air co2 tanks? Whats the biggest size you can run without trouble. In back bottle or the under the grip. Is it possible to run a 12 or 16 oz tank.

EDIT, don't mean to sound like an idiot, but whats D/F? I've seen it mentioned a few times with no definition. Is it running with a constant air tank and not using 12 grams.

D/F : Direct feed body. SC is Stock Class.

As far as air goes, you can run anysize bottle on it. Here's my rig in it's various incarnations :

That is Stock Class w/ Micro CA

This is center feed (Direct feed, or DF), LAPCO bigshot, 4500 nitro bottle and VL2000 on top

That's not a scope. You want a 'newbie scope'?!

                        A few more...options....

This Crosman red dot is a total piece of junk...

And I reaallllly don't suggest running your air like this...

As it stands now, I run a vertical 3.5oz CO2 and vertical feed body....I'll probably still use the 15rd stock feed for airball. No, I never played with the HPA vertical like that - Last I heard CCI recommended using no tank larger than 7oz on the vert ASA due to stress issues on the trigger guard. I also never used the scope - it's off my air rifle. I did, however, play with the bottomline HPA...balance was bad, but it was that or 12 grams at the time. Trying to get an Armson OEG to replace the horrendous Crosman P.O.S.

that most people would take it as some kind
of sexual suggestion rather than an attempt
                        to infer one's final destination."

I actually use the site playing stock. I love the snaphot.

And that revy is the only thing short of a halo is the only thing that keeps up with me, AND fits on that gun...

Besides, it's camo. You won't see my hopper. :)
