i live in a suburb of chicago and i need to get a tank rehydroed. if you know anywhere i can take it or send it in for testing can u tell me they address? thx for your help in advance

look for a scuba shop they can normaly rehydro them, or send them out for it

yellow pages man look for your local scuba shop and call most will do it or atleast send out to have it done.
also ask your local feild they will most likly know where to get it done

Search around for fire extinguisher places. SCUBA shops are really expensive, and most times they ship them out to get tested (they don't do the tests) and overcharge you.

SCUBA shops I've looked at wanted from $20 up to $35. I got mine tested for $8.50 at a hydrotesting facility. They do fire extinguisher work.

Call those places, welders, fire departments and ask where they get hydrotesting done.

i went to this place and it is gone. i was told about some place on Elmhurst Road but that is also gone. I don't care if i have to send the tank outta state to get it tested. does any1 know where i can go?

I dropped mine off at Bad Boyz Toyz in Naperville. I think it was about 3 weeks (they send it out) and $35 I think, didn't know where else to take it and it was just convenient for me though.
