Air itself is 78% nitrogen.
So technically they are the same thing. Most places do HPA only b/c its cheaper than Nitrogen. -

n2 should flow better, but it wouldnt be enough to make a big difference.

as everyone else said there is not much difference. The biggest difference is the lack of moisture in N2 over compressed air N2 is used as line drying media for all television transmission lines to prevent them from arcing. Which they will do if ANY moisture is present.
N2 is better, but not worth the extra $$$ in paintballComment

If you really have a wad of green to blow and want to be uber cool, have your fiber tank 02 cleaned and service rated, and you can get your tank filled with enriched air.
"My tank's got nitrox in it, so it'll shoot through your foot, you stoopid n00b."

Why would you want Nitrox? That would lower the N2 and raise the O2. I don't see any advantage at all.
