I dont believe there is enough "beef" on the ule to make it twist loc. BUT.... you could make on from a sluggo body, but there goes all your weight savings. Hence ULT.
besides Cocker barrels are a dime a dozen at most pro shops. There are a ton you can get used. I have five twist loc barrels one is so heavy I use it for a hammer. Gotta love stainless. Thwack,Thwack!

twist lock was made for easy cleaning. The breech is part of the barrel, so when you sqeegee or swab you are cleaning the WHOLE thing.

I understand the cleaning advantages, but try pushing the system on the kid at the field with broken/maimed detents.

I really like the twist lock w/ plastic detents. Best system ever.

Twist lock was horrible, it made the gun rely on the barrel, and made it impossible to effectivly install anti-chop eyes on mags.

Somehow I dont think installing anti chop eyes was much of a concern when the Automag was being developed

contract a machine shop and have them bore out the inside of the front of a ULE body, and drill a hole for the twist lock

then you'll have a twist lock compatible ULE body

I have a twist lock barrel for sale for $20 and I can't sell it. Appearently they aren't a high demand item, and they are a pain in the ***. I could never find barrels anywhere, and when I did, they were expensive. Now, I don't have a mag anymore, but if I did, I'd like to have cocker threads.

I was thinking that too... there might be enough to actually do that.

AGD loved the twist lock barrel it was quick and easy to clean but with the new lvl 10s the bolts were having tolerance issues with the barrels cuz manufactures werent making them to tight enough tolerance specs. so AGD took the barrel out of the equation now all ule mags have a real breach so you dont have to worry about tolorence issues. IMO twist lock was great but it isnt keeping up with technology so out with the old in with the new. any way now i can use my friends one off super barrel with cocker threads. yeah!!!!

oh yeah, forgot to say this in my first post, bagelboy, not all cocker barrels have cocker written on them, and not all of them are made by WGP.
