How don't they fit,to loose or too tight?

Too tight can be fixed in most cases.Too losse can be fixed on rare occasion.

If too tight I can fix them for you,no cost.

When you say "they wont fit" what exactly is the problem? I have mounted KAPP on/offs on shocktech, dye and CP rails. I haven't tried a ST on/off, but since their drops fit the "standard" dovetail, it should work.

i think he means how they mount if im not mistaken.... but if they dont fit it would be because its too tight..

The Shocktech ASAs are manufactured with a standard dovetail.

The dovetail is however recessed in a milled out slot that is no wider than the dovetail itself.

The only drop that is machined like this, to the best of my knowledge, is the shocktech.

So, a shocktech ASA will only work on a shocktech drop.

well on the shocktech on/off if you look there are like two places for a rail to fit, the cp rail can't fit on the bottom part of it because it will hit the on/off. and its to small for the top one.

i will take a pic if i can get a good one.

well i have the whole setup so if you want ill take your rail and you can have my shocktech microdrop or whatever its called...

however the only solution to this is to mill the top semi slot thing so you can slide the dove tail in

i outlined the part that the dovetail can slip into

idk if you can see it, but thats how much opening is left from the rail and side of the top part of the on/off.

I can't slip the rail down any farther can it will get in the way of the on/off

Odd... I currently use only Shocktech Micro drops, but have owned medium and long ones as well. I've owned and used CP, Kapp, and Shocktech ASA's and they have all fit the Shocktech drops. My Flatline fits them without any problems either.

you could try hacksawing the top ridge of the on off then polishing it up that would fix the problem

I see what you are saying now. You can either get a shocktech drop of some kind, or a different brand on/off. I have a KAPP on my CP rail, so I know they fit.
