Worst Day Balling ever for me!
Today flat out sucked. I never thought I could not have fun playing PB at a field. I was wrong.
I met up with RickEZ10, Bign'slo, Seek, and others to play USANA/Pyro Paintball today. Never again. On Target Paintball only from now on.
First, after our first fills, we were only getting 2400 psi fills for the afternoon.
Second, they had one good ref, and the rest were kids that sucked. There was bonus balling galour. People were breaking the rules at will. Try to call yourself out and get shot a million times trying to leave.
The safety there was a joke. Minimal netting and people taking their masks off all over.
The field is not in great shape. As a matter of fact, Bign'Slo twisted his ankle trying to get to Ft. Meyer.
To make matters worse, all of my gear went to crap. My X-Mag started leaking from the drop. Then my Eggo craps out. Finally I end up using the R/T and Revy. The R/T starts leaking from I don't know where.
The final straw was the last game I played on the truck field. We were playing 15 on 15. The other team collapsed our left flank and began decimating us. When I went over to support them I found out why. 7 of their players were WAY out of bounds shooting in on us. They pulled a mass Jeremy Salm to light us up. I screamed at the ref and what does he do? He takes their players and reinserts them in the middle of the field leaving the 5 or 6 they shot out of the game. So he not only doesn't take them out for cheating, he rewards them with the eliminations and re-insertion! After this, I just said screw it packed up and left!
These refs had absolutely no control or idea what was going on.
If this is how they run the place, there is no way in hell I am going to their big scenario game: Judgement Day.
