Dye Lock Lid Pods (AKA Super Pods)

Hey, I heard that these pods wouldn't be out for 3 months, yet I just ordered 4 of them off of www.paintballwizard.com 5 minutes ago. Is this the real deal? Someone told me there was a defect in them and they had to recall them. Are these the defected ones you think? Or are they good? The price was amazing I thought, at only $3 a piece. Check it out for yourself.

lemme know if they work, i dive/slide ALOT and my pods are constantly poping open on the field, wasting alot of paint, so i tape em, which slows down reloading, so, if these are good, there for me for shure

The dye super pods are just ordinary pods. The picture that they have posted is misleading. If you look at the pods in the center, they are just plain dye pods. If you want some nice pods, Viewloader has some that will stack on top of each other, I have some of those (got them at the mardi gras open for $2 each) and they are great.

i happened to pick one up from an la ironmen practice and those pods are crap. they have a double locking mechanism but if you drop it from 2 feet onto a hard surface, the lid pops open like nothing.

i think dye got all the bugs fixed on the pod, cuz the one i have has a bunch of bumps on it and the bottom is flat, the one on paintballwizard is a normal dye pod w/ the lock lid feature. the prototype pod really sucks, they dont even fit in a normal dye harness (kinda ironic) dye makes the loops to hold pods too narrow and the prototype lock lid pod was really wide compared to other pods.

gdog: If I'm wrong and these really are the dye lock lid pods, when you get them in post back, I wanna know how they work.

I just looked on the dye website and they say "Coming Soon". If they really are the lock lid pods, then how does that site have them but not dye. I'm afraid to think that they are not lock lid pods.

Hate to break it to you, but 888 Paintball does the same thing. Says Dye Super Pods. What came to my house were regular Dye pods.

                Lock Lids aren't out yet.

Anyone know the cheapest place for Fat Boys? I found them on PBGear.com for like 3.49 which isn't bad, curious tho. Don't mean to thread hijack, just curious.

                        140's btw

Once you have shot and eliminated someone, you have established your position towards them. In a sense, the next move is up to them...
