Dude, right before I seperated from active duty (Air Force), I had just finished getting my EMT-B cert, I was working on my Pilot's lic, and also studying computer science in college.
THE four WORST professions for acronyms:

1. Military
2. Medical
3. Computers
4. Flying

...and I was studying or workin in ALL of them.


Thats why you'll rarely see me use acronyms in my posts...

, I don't play there hardly but my teammates do. I go up to Darmstadt usually and play now... But I will go to ktown still. You should come up to Bitburg and watch our team play the 10-11 of april for the Max Masters tourny. You might know Bruce he was there playing last weekend (sunday) shooting the yellow cyborg and eblade cocker.

now all we need to do is convince the UnitedStatesAirForce that paintball would be a wonderful tool to use for recruiting and that our squad of AirGunDesigns friendly badarses are just the ones to do it.

we could all crosstrain to be non-ers er I mean recruiters and travel on the air forces dime to all the psp - nppl events, booth in tow. and when we get there force the local recruiter to man the damn thing so we can go party er i mean "recruit" with all the young hot things in that town.

that would be the greatest job in the free world.

But im the delusional one here :P and how ya like my lack of use of acronyms?

They use simunitions...bullets tipped with a paint cartridge fired from real guns. They have an exit velocity of about 1000fps and they hurt like hell when you get hit. I took one to the finger one, it feels like your finger just fell off.

Plus, back then, Ramstein wasn't as big of a base as it is now. Back then, Rhein Main was the big, bad base.

I worked for AFN at the time of the digital change over from one to 7 channels in Germany.. That was fun 7 channels is gotta be better than one, but when I was there 3 of the 7 were the same, but time shifted for Europe, Asia, and the states. There were also digital music channels I think there were 5 stereo programs at the time. But this was in 96-97 so I am sure things are different now.

I seen a thing about the state quizes.. Those were the best commercials of the bunch.. The command and control ones (like the article 15 one, and personal hygene) THOSE SUCKED!!!

90% of Rhien Main was going back to the Germans, Frankfurt was gone when I got there, the only large Airbase was Ramstein, but they could not move heavys so we still landed the C-5s in Rhien Main and then loaded C-17s to get to the other locations.

I miss germany.

For those there have a Binding Pils for me :)
