    Dye Whores: Dye Cypher Shirts

Ok, these shirts are $35, $15 more than a Dye tshirt. I need to know why.

It looks like a tshirt. Is the material different? It says cotton-lycra blend.

Does anyone own one of these?

See, Dye has a special now where if you order $50 worth of stuff, you can get an 03 Pit Shirt for $15, and I already want to get a hat and a pit shirt, so I figure I might as well spend a couple extra bucks.

If anyone knows anything about these shirts, lemme know please

    Thanks.

You're just paying for the lycra and the design, instead of being a 100% cotton T-Shirt.

since its lycra its meant to probably stretch and be 'fitted'

It's $35 because it says DYE on it, no other reason.

Yup, you're paying for the lycra top. It's like Under Armour - I just had a thread on this a few days ago. Dye likely is doing an '04 line to compare against JT's Bodyguard line.

I already ordered one of the Bodyguard tops from ActVil (ThreadGear), since they're only $30.00. I'll post about it once it arrives.

If you haven't felt the material before, go to a sporting goods store and check out Adidas ClimaCool shirts - it's the same micromesh material.

Bleh, ok, I just said screw it and just got a hat and a pit shirt.

And yes, I realize Dye is expensive, but if you've ever owned their clothes, they are super comfy.

DYE makes cool looking and comfy stuff. If you know where to buy it from, it's not that expensive.

Yeah normally I wouldn't order from Dye, I can do better than that, but they have the pit shirts on closeout, so...

I have two arena shirts and a pair of arena shorts. The shirts are the most comfortable thing ever in the summer. I wear them all the time.
