Yea, The Hillman morning show did that as a stunt I guess... But that is Boston Paintball in Somerville I believe -- the indoor.

Boston sucks, 80 for a case of big ball and staff that treats you like crap, definatley not worth the time. The refs and most techs are pretty laid back guys though. I guess they are just too dense to understand my philosophy or embrace the fact that I play and win just as often as they do with a stock gun, or even my mag. Bunch of ignorant pricks if you ask me.E-mag, 3.2, Ule Body, freakComment

So.. he dressd up as Saddam and people shot him in the nuts? Theses are the same morons that put Calvin pissing on Ford/Chevy logos...
Someone should let this "Active News" station know that Saddam was captured so poking fun at him really isn't "funny" anymore (was it ever?).Comment

Well, it's a rock station doing a spoof. I'm not sure how old it was.

I ref at BPS one day a week now to add some income on top of my normal job, lol. And some refs can be rough at times, but after telling a hundred people not to take their mask off or having to chase them to the staging area because they didn't barrel bag it, I can get grumpy too.
I know 80/case is alot but they really have an expensive location (rent) right on the edge of the city and DIRECTLY off 93 in Somerville which is a pricey spot, much better than some backwater or remote spot which are the other options around here, and they get way too many customers to handle during a day even at those prices so why drop it if people are willing to pay it? Sundays can get insane at times. For a single indoor field, they do great business and the best location around boston, which is why WAAF probably went with them. It also is somewhat geared towards parties and such so when you have renters going through 1/20th of a case (100 shots) on average, the $4 they personally pay for their share doesn't seem much and the field and air is pretty standard ($15 and $10). So a group of people who have never played before can come in as a party and pay less than $30 each to play some great paintball on carpeted floors (great for sliding and no dirt in your gear) that's pretty darn good. If people with their own gear come in, it's still not TOO too bad unless you're ripping through the paint, and I think the $80 helps discourage that behavior so you're not absolutely lighting up new players and making it unenjoyable for them, making them not want to come back. I will admit they need more bunkers filled, but they keep getting popped by people being too rough on them. Check out league nights, geared more towards to competitive players and discount prices on paint. Anyways, that aside...
The skit is pretty old, I think it came out before he was captured. Funny stuff though. I jump between WAAF and Stern every morning, and Spaz really does get ripped into all the time. Check out the in studio tunes section of that radio station's page, great stuff there.Feedback: http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...hreadid=105565

I agree. I tend to flip between them and FNX in the morning. I can't stand Stern but when I'm in the mood to hear hysterical radio I'll flip on the morning show @ 'AAF. If I'm in the music mood, I'm usually listening to BRU until I hit 128 then I'm too far north to get it (I live in Easton) so I switch over the morning show for the rest of my commute up 128 (ugh).
Funny stuff though!
I've actually never played @ BPS in Somerville but you are right. They do have a GREAT location virtually inside of the city. Rent is defintely expensive there. The course looks nice -- looks like they clean it and such.. Always a plus. Once I get back into the game more this spring, I wanna get back into reffing myself. I did it over @ the old Apache/USI in Brockton back in the day at their outdoor field (not the indoor).
