Warning: Rant ahead. Bit of a repost. This is all my opinion. Nomex is on.

I was at AIR, and noticed they have a separate forum for "legal discussions" (basically argue about SP). Anytime someone posts a trollish SP comment, i.e.

Q: "Hows my shocker?"
A: "SP IS THE GHEYEST EVER!!!!! LLL##!#*)(*^ HDALKH
youae a dumbnewbb!! my viking is the ll3377!!!

the mods pull it, or redirect to the legal forum.

I think this is a good idea. I'm afraid AO is getting a little too PBN for me. So, again;

sp haters: shush!
sp supporters: shush!
flamers: shush!

just, stop it guys. please.

We've all kicked this horse up and down the street for the past several months.

Try to emulate the people on this board you would invite to dinner.

People, your reputation and behavior online can follow you into the real world. At AO events, when you wear your AO jersey, when you post on other sites; people notice.

I, for one, am getting tired of the rude, immature behavior that pops up anytime sp comes up. Should just stop looking at threads, but all this poop has jumped this thread to the top in like an hour!

It sounds like a good idea. But how are you gonna deal with the sp haters/lovers sayin stuff in the middle of threads. Delete thier posts. Thats kinda difficult to police. Free speech baby. Gotta love it or h8 it but its a reality. (yeah i know cant cuss here)

I think that the mods try to keep an eye out. It's not a deleted thread, they just move it to the appropriate forum.

A 4x4 board (Pirate) does this too. They have a newbie section that is for beginner ? and discussion. If you post in one of the other forums, the mods move it.

You're right, can't police everything. Just trying to organize it. Plus, I think a lot of the hoo-rah is casual. Someone's looking at a thread, and chimes in. Someone pops right back with the opposite view (of course) and the thread is goodbye, sayanora, flame fest.

If we made it clear this kind of talk was for one forum, it may help keep it out of the others...

After I checked out a new shocker, logamus's, at AO, tx-ball, I am considering one as my next gun purchase. If they can beat my mag's effeiency I may pick one up. Besides I always wanted a golden anno'ed gun.

I still dont understand all the hate? the compatition brings the "game" up a level you need to respond with a better product.

I have mod'ed for two Honda boards in the past. Anytime some moron starts posting the hate I would:

A: delete the whole thread and ban the fool or
B: edit thier post to say something ingenous and then lock the thread.

Either way it makes for a fun read!

yep, mods are pretty much the only way this can happen. Trying to enforce by calling people on it would get ugly quick.

Depends on how AO feels about it as a group.

Enough people want it, or it continues to be a problem, I'm sure it will be addressed. Just wanted to voice my opinion.

I own an AKA marker, and yes, it is better than your Smart Parts products.

I recently had the opportunity to shoot an 03 Ultimate Vision Shocker. It was the worst piece of crap I have ever seen, and that was when it worked. (that's even if I wasn't biased, judging by the +/- 50 fps it got over the chrono)
