    Smokee's Tracer

Here is Smokee's Tracer, he recently gave it acid wash red/black ano, did a trigger job (lol), and polished his internals(to make it even faster)
Why would anyone put a $250 ano job on a tracer you ask?
    BECAUSE HE COULD! lololol

Oh, and those are Frymark grip panels with thumb rest, gas through stock(no gas being put through though) with squeegee side car.

huh, you probably could have gotten a better gun for the same price with the same ano if you just got a phantom, but oh well. i guess you can say you have the most expensive traccer !

What's the thing under the stock?

Edit, my bad, I read. Sweet ano job... although I'd just get a nice VSC Phantom with that anno job instead...

First off, The only reason i did this is because it was FREE- - - - meaning that i did the work myself. Barry helped me with a few things here and there (like racking the parts: he's just way better than i am at that.)

There is no way that i would ever put an almost 300 job on a marker that only cost about 75 dollars. But. . if you CAN do somthing like this with only your time invested, then by all means. . . make it the baddest trracer the world has ever seen.

Resist148, Ano cost is based on the number of peices anodized- - - regardless (generally) of size. Even if the part is a little bitty sight rail, it still has to be completely prepped and handled and anodized independently of all the other peices. Most Anodizing for paintball guns is based off a '10 peice' job (average number of individual parts on a gun).

This trracer had 10 peices that i ano'd:
barrel, body, sight rail, asa/valve housing, 12gram quick changer, quick changer plug, the stock main peice, the stock shoulder peice, and the 2 clamps for the side car.
            pretty much an 'average' job

            can'tthink of1,

Email several different anodizers and ask them how much a 10 peice 2-color (one of which is a custom color) acid wash costs.

Anyway, thanks for the compliments guys. Ive had this gun since i started playing, and its kinda nice to see it all spiffied up like this. Not to mention that with all the internal stuff i did, it pumps and shoots almost as good as a mid-level phantom. Not bad for an 8+ year old hand-me-down marker.

Nice Tracer, I like the anno. I'm all for customizing old markers, it identifies it as yours and no one else has one like it.
