I have a Classic Mag. It's been kicked around between my uncle, his son, and another cousin for a few years. I bought it earlier this year. It was the first gun I ever shot. It's a bone stock standard feed.

This is an old automag that a co-worker gave me, not sure of the year, does'nt say classic on the valve, has a spring instead of a spacer in power tube, any way put a o-ring kit in it and it works good. I think he may have bought in the mid to early ninties.

I have a classic mag... it's more or less my 'loaner,' though. If someone wants a gun to use, they get that one.

Actually, i just gassed up my ULE'd classic today with some spare fittings, boy does it feel familiar! That broken in o-ring feeling on the mag, the tactile repsonse. Lemme tell ya, the emag has spoiled me, or any electro for that matter. As far as im concerned the Classic is faaar from obselete. Im gonna take it for a spin the next time i play.

What can i say Im a Classic Roller.

not necessarily. My LVL7 mag had a spring, the spacers came out MUCH later IIRC.

The main visible difference (again, IIRC) is that lvl 6 and earlier has a spring clip holding the power tube in place, and they started welding with lvl7.

My thread lives!!! I though it was gone months ago, then got an e-mail that there was a reply!

I have a spring in my powertube also, but I thought they all did I am going to check if it's welded or has the spring clip right now.

You guys have some sweet mags! Mine has the steel pf body, and an all-american barrel. That's it. Need money....

EDIT: It's welded... level 7.... guess I'm not as special as I thought. Probably better that I have a level 7 though, as it is the gun I use. Has to be better somehow.
Yes, my Mag is made of steel.

Stainless minimag PF right. I got it in a package trading away an Impulse I hated. I sold the Intelli and use the single carbon fiber grip frame. The humble few goodies are a 10 inch boomie. a Lapco drop, and (not so humble) an emag valve.

Every time I head to the local rec field a few player ask about the mag. It is quite funny.
