    Red Fill Illegal?

Wow this is weird, my local field just received a pallet of Zap Tork for their field paint and the fill is blood red. I thought companies weren't allowed to do this?

My teammate was surprised when he got shot in the forehead by it and thought he was bleeding--along with everyone else who saw him get hit.

    Whoa

And um, why was your friend not wearing a mask when he got hit in the forehead? Kinda odd because I thought masks covered up your forehead
    Lol, Hey.......

I don't think it's illegal, but I could be wrong. It's just frowned upon very much.

yeah I was shot by some blood red fill paint today I think it was zap or nelson can't remember. I don't really like it because it looks like blood.

If you take off the visor you can get shot in the forehead, but that sucks so mine stays on.

It is not illegal, it is just looked down upon. Makes it too difficult to tell when someone is hit or injured. I also think that players coming off the field covered in what looks a lot like blood made some people uneasy and looked bad for the sport.
It came to a point in my life when it was either pay the rent or buy paintball gear. I think I made the wise choice. If anyoneone needs me I'm livin in a van down by the river.

Yeah I took my visor off because I have a tinted lense and with the shadow over it all day it can make it hard to see well sometimes, I've been shot in the forehead a couple of times, no real danger in that. (imo)

Not illegal. By that you mean laws against it? No. However it was an industry wide agreement to not manufacture it and that should be respected. It could lead to someone seriously injured not being recognized as such and perhaps dieing. I not seeing very much respect in this industry anymore. It's just sad. They should be ashamed of themselves for making it. Many fields and many tournaments will not allow it. I would send it all back and refuse to pay shipping or even pay for it. Send em a message and stick to your guns on it. They should hear from people about it and STOP making it!

I shot some JT Predator balls from Wally World the other day. They had a red fill. I was very surprised to see that red fill paint being sold in America's Superstore.

Thats one for a quote thread cphilip. Sad but true, not like it used to be any more is it? Last I heard the insurance said it was a no no, but what do I know. Nobody cares any more. They will when something bad happens and the C.P.S.C. steps in

Not to funny. Now take 6 to 12 shots across the back of the head and base of the neck and see how ya feel. Can you say blunt force trauma

brass eagle used to make red paint but stopped i think.

then last red fill paint i saw was when 32 degress came out with there team colors. they had 2 or 3 "teams" with red fill
