Red Fill Illegal?

Actually a shot to the forehead can be bad i know someone who got shot in the forehead 6 times and got a cuncusion.

Wow...6 times is quite alot and it sounds to me like several things happened to get a concussion from it:

1.) They over shot the guy in the first place.. I mean 6 Times??! Come on...
2.) The FPS would have to be pretty hard to give such a significant impact to cause a concussion.
3.)How close were they when they shot him?

Sorry I dont believe you but I just find it hard to believe that in normal circumstances that could happen.

I'm pretty sure in a tournament a guy shot another guy in the head a couple of times and he had to go to the hospital. The guy who was shooting got suspended and there where rumors about him having modes on his marker or something.

wow, im surprised. I always thought that it was illegal. but i think it is a dumb idea, it is just a stupid and useless thing, it will cause problems with people thinking they are injured or not thinking they are when they really are. i think they should make it illegal to play with it.

Whats Normal circumstances? Guns shooting at HIGH rof[full auto]20 bps, shooting on bonus balling etc.... How close on a bunker move 6 to 12 ft at 285 to 300fps.


A.S.T.M. is 12ft for testing gogs. Have your buddy shoot you in the back of the head 8 times at 12 ft at 280fps, and report the results.[no dont do this really]

Just because you dont believe or find it hard to believe does not mean it cant wont or hasnt happened. Ask yourself why JT has already come out with a helmet type gog system.

Depending on the mask, often times there are vents/slots on the forehead piece which the paint could easily travel through, I would have htought I was bleeding and freaked out as well.

I say, it would be a neat tool filming a movie (not very safe tho). Say the scene requires a person to be shot, and you cant afford 'squibs'. But, thats not safe anyways unless the person has goggles on (doubt it.)

i think the guy that got knocked out was shoot by lasoya. he lit someone up around 10 time point blank on a 3 on 1. the guy was escorted off of the field if i remember correctly. i cannot remember if lasoya got in trouble.

well i got a 2 yr old case of red balls i think ... i have no idea who there made by the box is kinda fade im gonan guess a wally world case cuz its from my spider days... i wonder if my lvl ten would break them. figurs i waste all my air messin around at the chrono before i left last night

There was a lot of controversy over the lasoya incident because he was found to be using a cheater board. And like I said....I doubt that falls into "normal" circumstances.

Red fill is not by anymeans "illegal" , but most manufacturers have gotten away from it.Red is too close to blood and makes it hard to tell if someone is injured.
Personally I think they should do away with it altogether.

RED paint and the NPPL...

As I was reading this threadm, I thought that I had heard somethign about red paint being illegal and all. I looked at the NPPL rules and this is what I found:

7.10 PROHIBITED EQUIPMENT
7.11 Prohibited equipment includes listening devices, communication devices and any
form of electronic surveillance device, incendiary devices, smoke producing devices, red paint, paint which is toxic and not biodegradable and paint which has a shell, fill or both
altered or augmented in any way.


This might be what some people thought was "illegal" The NPL won't allow it. Hope this clears some stuff up.

Right.

lasoya bunkered a kid and supposedly put 12 balls into his head, giving him a concussion and a trip to the hospital about 2 years back (has it really been that long?) so it's entirely possible for something like what's beend described to happen.
