    Oh, the irony..

For fun, I occasionally like to cruise through the angel forums over at PBNation and look to see what they're saying about E-mags and stumbled across ths thread. Considering the mag's unfounded chopping reputation I just thought this was too funny.

im not too educated on the angels but all this crap that they are talking about adjusting to keep from breaking makes me happy that i own an emag. all i do is turn it on, load it with paint, turn on the air and shoot.

Jeez all those things to check!! My breakage problem was the incorrect jumper settings on the warp, and incorrect paint to barrel match. Once I get a CP kit, Im home free!! Dwell settings, MROF (what the heck is that anyway), LPR, RAM/BOLT setup, Snap ring adjustment....its all well and good but its just one more variable to cause problems...

                  just a few in rebuttle.

come on guys, not to stick up for them cause i hate angels but, mags have a few things to check if you're breaking paint too. ball detent, blowback, bad/worn sear, bad/worn bolt, powerfeed plug, etc. there's more, but i can't think of them right now. that's a pretty big list, i think. again, i hate angels to the core, but every gun chops. these things happen, it's part of paintball.

Chopping is when paint half enters the breach. Breaking is when paint breaks in the barrel. Why can't people get that straight? They are totally different things and have totally different fixes.

And also, the adjustablity on the Angel and Cocker makes them the most popular guns and not the EMAG. In different situations those guns can be fine tuned and tweaked when the EMAG you just have to live with it. The only thing is that the EMAG is right on 99% of the time. You either have a gun that is capable of the extra 1% or have a gun that can't reach it but it will work beautifully the rest of the time.

                      imho

From that original post on the other board, I'd say the problem is with his flux capacitor. Must not be getting the proper 1.21 Jigawatts need to properly run that British stuff. Maybe they need a power converter for use in the Good 'ol USA!

Ityl: The Angel's not popular due to adjustability, how many people even know you can adjust it's dwell? It's popular because it's pretty, has ton's of useless features like a thermometer, andthe pro's use them. The Cocker's popular because they're pretty, customeizable and the pro's use them.

People don't care about adjustability, just looks and customizability(which ain't the same, it's usually just pretty colours and milling).

dont forget the price tag. if it costs almost 2 grand, it has got to be the best. most of these people are just kids running off their mommy's and daddy's money anyways. fi they shell it out, why not get the most expensive gun?

One of my team mates has a Cobra Angel. If you ask me it is a blender in disguise It breaks more paint than any gun I have ever seen. There was not one tournament or practice that it was not breaking paint. We finally talked him into an EMag. BTW, what the hell is a pugslified angel??? Does it have black and gray stripes to look Pugsly Addam's shirts ?
