I picked up an RT today, and my arm still hurts.

The PB store had a couple hanging on the wall, thinking it was the ULE, I asked to take a look. Picked one up, *oof** compared to my old F1 Illustrator, this thing weights a TON! I'd estimate it at least 6 lbs..

Question: Is the RT-ULE custom, with all aluminum parts significantly lighter then the original all-steel RT?
Anyone know it's weight? If it's "only" a 54% weight reduction as stated on the AGD site, it would still be twice as heavy as the F1..

The Origional RT is alot heavier than the new ULE rt pros. I guarentee you that. I have a hyperframed RT classic sitting in my room and it is pretty heavy. I think the weight is kind of nice though, it feels solid.

Amen! The way I see it, they heavier it is, the harder to break it. I'd still stick with my ULE though. It's just nice to not have to carry the extra weight. I mean, I already have to lug my 180 lb., 5'6" *** around the field.
