    Hello from Japan

    What's up Mag family?

Some of you might know me from pbr, pbn or The Paintball Times. I just added a Ule EMAG to my collection of markers so you guys will probably start seeing me around here a lot. Pics and info about my baby are below.

Got it for $625 with ULE body, Dye Barrel, LX installed, SP DF, extra battery and a car charger.

Software will be getting upgraded from 1.7 to 3.2 soon. The SP DF has been changed to a Kapp DZIII DF so I can use my AA Raptor tanks. The ULE body will get upgraded to a Black Karta in the near future and I ordered an LT3 trigger last night. All I need now is an AC charger since my car does not have a lighter.

I'm on that little rock called "Okinawa". My team might try to enter the Shizuoka Open on the main rock if our work schedules allow it.

                  Ohaiyou gozaimasu!

Paintball is getting big over here. There are lots of over priced fields in mainland and we have two military operated fields here on "the rock". Hopefully we will be able to start something in the local community this summer but we first have to win the support the local Japanese Police departments. Dragun Empire has provided markers/Halo B's/tanks for a 5-man japanese team for our inaugural April 24th tournament so I hope things go as planned!

                        Welcome!

I'm curious, what kind of laws and such do you have to deal with to play paintball in Japan? Is it highly regulated by the government or is it left to the local level?

Can't wait to see how fast paintballing will take off in Japan. The majority of my Japanese friends are only familiar with air soft and are quite eager to try paintball.

                          Welcome Aboard!

Edited - LOL! I had guessed that you might have been a gaijin since your english was so freaking good. Either way I hope that you can help to spread the sport of paintball. Kudos!

Before everybody gets the wrong idea..... I'M AMERICAN!!

Camp Schwab is in the boonies but the single guys are about to be in heaven since a new IT college is being created right down the street.

For now only low operating pressure paintball markers can be used in Japan. That is why you see so many highend markers at Japanese rental fields. There is a field near Mt Fuji that uses cockers as rentals. These rules do not apply to markers used on military bases. CO2 is also frowned upon over here. Thanks to Diablo Japan many people are starting to see paintball for what it is... an AWESOME SPORT!

I might start a Paintball Pro shop here in Okinawa if I can get the local officials to open their closed backwoods minds. The two military fields are so-so. The USMC woodsball field is OK but we need to rebuild the bunkers. They also have a Sup Airball field on order for speedball tourneys. The USAF field is totally rank. It's too small and hilly. The speedball that was constructed is only good for 3man games but we sometimes have teams as large as 7man setups on the field. Let's just say you can play all day with 500 paintballs because games normally last about 2 minutes.

I'll post pics of the April 24 tourney and some pics of the fields here on island next month.

I also have a nice airsoft collection. I have way too many hobbies!!
