That thread is the original announcement from Tom K that the ULE bodies had been finished. Pewter was among the original colors, whereas Nickel didnt come along as an option until later down the road (September of 2003, to be exact)

My pewter body looks quite grey. The pewter is a little more silver than pure grey though. They are very nice. I like mine.
