hey Digits how bout rather than just post they suck i wouldn't get one. Why don't you explain why. I have a bko and it rips, with no problems. The only real issue with a bko is the fact that with some of the stock bolts you can have blowback issues. that is fixed with a bolt or halo b. besides that they are very nice guns in their price range. Earlier models have had hpr problems if your tank was high output, but that is fixed now as well.
Cheap electros...

E cockers are also sear tippers....Originally posted by JonDaAzn
maybe the x/e mags are, but cockers are hybrids, because they have a partially electro pneumatic recocking system

What does "true electro" mean? Well with that term in it's own all it means is that instead of mechanical use to initiate the firing sequence. It's electronics that will do it for you through use of some power source and an electronic board/chip. That's all it means. Just because one uses a sear, or one has a spring returned hammer, or one has a fully pneumatic hammer.... that doesn't mean squat. If it wasn't "true electro" then you'd be able to rip out the board and it'd still fire right? Since if it ain't electro... it's mechanical. No other choice.
Anybody that actually worries about the term "true electro" indeed is a noob. Since noobs created that term to begin with, and only noobs use it.
Go by the method of design in which the valve is opened since that's the only main difference. E-spyder or Draguns... That's hybrid electro-mechanical. E-mags and E-cockers fit into this genre as well big whoop cry me a river.
Angel, Timmy, B2k2... These use a 4-way electronic solenoid to operate a fully-pneumatic ram/hammer for opening the valve.
BKO, Diadem, EM1... These are all spring-returned pneumatic rams, only a 2-way noid is used.
You put most all of those next to each other and look at the design, like the E-spyder next to Timmy next to BKO. Know what the difference is going to be? Specifically just what I mentioned, that valve opening thingy doodad. Spyders use a hammer, Timmy use a ram. Otherwise the valve's the same design, bolt's the same design, overall airflow is similar, the whole layout shows it's the same family. Stacked-tube Sheridan poppet valved design.

which means....blowbacks are just as good as other "electros" if properly setup. My piranha has an eforce frame with ace, palmer stab, lp@~250psi, and a 12"JJ(soon a 10"), and it is a ton more reliable then the GZ intimidators I have seen, shoots just as fast(modded trig), is quiet, and can fire a case of paint from a single 20oz tank. You put most all of those next to each other and look at the design, like the E-spyder next to Timmy next to BKO. It all comes down to what u like though......If u like BKO's, go get one.....
I for one would buy a ULE mag for $340.....Or a Piranha Evo for $250.

Don't discount The One either.
It's got eyes, spring returned air ram, and it's really fast with a 50gr switch."Relax. Don't worry. Have a Home Brew."
