I like the colors (lighter than the old), but I think the old color scheme was much better. It seems to fit AO much, much better than the new.

looks a lot like www.air-powered.com its definately not the ao i remember but whatever. is there any way to change the vbulletin thing up there? put like a picture of someones gun to make it feel more like a paintball site?

other than that, good job im glad the boards are up and running again i missed that day of nothingness

for those who cant stand it, i suggest you take a look at THIS PLACE JUST TO BE HUMBLED , you know, just to remember how good we have it. posting on here is like living in beverly hills. once you live there and thrive, you take for granted what you have but if you drive down to pbn, or downtown l.a. and look under some bridges, you are reminded of the goodness we posess

hopefully look changes soon. im used to the old way with the headers and all... and the banner advertising. I feel like im someplace new now.

also, did you know that you can no longer just "up" a thread. posts have to be at least 10 characters long now.

I hate it, I hope they change it back soon, it is way too hard to read, too confusing. This is waht it should look like, http://209.25.203.234/

My take on the new look (or at least why most everybody'll hate it).

To many AO is not as much as your average site as it is a "community." And that was some of the mystique or charm or what have you of the previous setup here. Had it's own look and feel to it.

Now with this as it is this place just looks like your average generic forum, nothing individual to seperate it or have it stand out. To really give you that "home" feel.

That and the simple fact that human beings hate change, we're "beings of habit" and things like this show that.

I'm going to have to wait and see how this new forum renders at home on my antiquated hardware... compare render speeds and such. As for the look, apparently it's not finished yet so I'll hold my comments till it's done.

                    I like it!

Great job Webby! Even the stock default skin looks great. After you finish the update, I'm sure it will look even better!

                    Excellent!

Well, I understand the whole interface is going to be updated, that's cool.
My problem is it is running REALLY slow... much slower than the old version.. will this improve, and does anyone else feel that way?

Before you guys go and trash the look of the forums, just know that the upgrade just completed this morning and they have not had time to update the look.
                            Give them a break guys.

I'm closing this thread for now unless they decide to re-open it.

Again peeps... we waiting until Rich at Delaware.net is all done before we can restore the AO specific stuff. In the mean time your getting the stock look from the new version of VB.

Naw Rich. I was about to close it myself. Good call.

Fixed the logo for now manually until webby gets time to play with the new settings.
